Illustrator, printmaker and poet working as Seeing Poetry:Poetry in words and comics. Showing new poetry comic books, original prints, sketch books, cards and a new comic about wasps.
This year my art practice has been very much influenced by Covid-19 and ‘Lockdown’. Most of my artwork has been produced at home and hence I mainly worked with digital drawing and poetry.
I produced several responses to Covid-19 inspired by such things as, daily walks growing vegetables in my small back yard and finally getting to the sea. Eight of these drawings are available here printed as high quality archival (giclée) prints. As a ‘greener’ solution these will be printed ‘on demand’ after the open studios hence delivery will be approx. 10-14 days after the weekend for most images. The prints including a white border will fit a 30x30cm frame. (Other sizes are available on request). Two of them can be viewed at the HBOS exhibitions at the Townhall and at Linden Mill.
The photopolymer prints are original relief prints, printed in a similar way to lino prints and hence there will be slight variations between each one. These are in edition size of 50 or less.
