IOU at 50 exhibition, artists in residence, hands-on workshops, artist breakfast, and sound and nature walks in Nutclough Woods.

IOU50 reflects five decades of experimental performance and production, while supporting new contemporary artists to create ambitious work for the future.

Rooted in Calderdale, IOU Creation Centre brings together large-scale, unique making and presenting space with a studio, gallery and workshop at Dean Clough in Halifax with the IOU Hostel in Hebden Bridge, creating a dynamic hub for artists, visitors and the wider community.

For Hebden Bridge Open Studios, we are presenting a special programme of exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and a guided sound installation and nature walk in Nutclough Woods, alongside opportunities to meet and connect with artists at our Artist Breakfast and creative Repair Cafe.
