Over the past year I have been working on a new series, attempting to depict the serenity and quietude of nature, whilst simultaneously reflecting the ever-changing meadows, valleys and moorlands around Hebden Bridge.
Each of my pieces centres around a shy, book-loving girl, a theme that has been central to my art for several years.
I have used gouache, watercolour, pencil and pastel to create these new pieces and look forward to exhibiting them for the first time at HBOS 2024.
