Shared Venues/Art Fair information 2026

Places have been offered for spaces in the art fairs at The Methodist Church and Making Mill via email, which will state the venue and stall size.

The deadline to accept by completing a form and making payment is the 18th February 2026.

 

FEES PAYABLE 2026:

£65 for Membership of Hebden Bridge Open Studios for 2026 and taking part in July’s event, with 10% commission payable on sales at events over £500.

PLUS payment for a small Methodist Church space or place at The Making Mill at £40, or large Methodist Church space at £60.

You payment should therefore be £105 for membership and a small Church space or the Making Mill, OR £125 for membership and a large Church space.

(Alternatively if you wish to pay for membership with no commission payable (this is £130, instead of £65) then add an extra £65 to the above amount.)

 

Please then add to your total any optional advert costs which are £40 / £80 / £120.

VENUE DETAILS:

Hebden Royd Methodist Church

54 Bridge Lanes, Hebden Bridge, HX7 6AA.

A prominent location on the main road, we site large banners in the weeks prior to and during the event. We’re using the church itself and the event hall. The hall is all on one level. Space is also available on the grass for outdoor exhibits such as large sculpture or demonstrations.

£40 for a small space or £60 for a larger space (payable in addition to 2026 membership fee)

  • Small space – Depending on layout approximately 228 cm (7’6”) frontage to accommodate one 182 x 76 cm (6’ x 2’6”) table.
  • Large space- Depending on layout approximately 305 cm (10’) frontage to accommodate eg. two tables: 182 x 76 cm (6’ x 2’6”) plus 122 x 60 cm (4’ x 2’) or more space for print browsers.

There are a limited number of large spaces available so not everyone will be able to have one.

Logistics of tables, chairs, display boards and electric supplies etc will be organised by the venue coordinator once places are allocated. Please bring your own tables and display stands if possible. We can supply tables- 122 x 60 cm (4’ x 2’), 152 x 76 cm (5’ x 2’6”), or 182 x 76 cm (6’ x 2’6”). Table hire fee £10 per space for up to 2 tables, if more than 2 required £10 each per subsequent table.

A small number of white display boards, 244 x 122 cm (8′ x 4′), are available if you have no means of hanging your work. These can be arranged either portrait (8′ high) or landscape (8′ wide with gap at bottom). Display board hire fee £10 per stand.

Set up 1pm – 9.30pm Thursday 2 July and from 7am Friday 3 July, ready to open at 10.30am.

Opening times Friday and Saturday 10.30am – 5pm, Sunday 11.30am – 5pm.

 

 

The Making Mill

Valley Road, Hebden Bridge, HX7 7BZ.

A great location next to Brooklyn and Northlight Studios. Two rooms available that will easily accommodate about five artists in each.

Please note The Making Mill is accessed via stairs.

£40 per stall (payable in addition to 2026 membership fee)

One table is provided 150 x 75 cm (5’ x 2’6”), plus additional space for print browsers etc. Additional small tables available on request.

Set up From 8.30am Friday 3rd July, ready to open at 10.30am.

Opening times 3 – 5 July, 10.30am – 5pm.
