I’m Steve Gibson, generally known as Bear, and I make ceramic tile murals under the name of Dancing Bear Ceramics. My tiles are all hand cut, with hand carved 3D relief and then hand painted, and they are definitely not the sort of thing you would expect to find in a tile shop.

If you are looking for something different to bring your new kitchen, bathroom or shower enclosure to life then what could do it better than a bespoke ceramic tile mural.
I like depicting wildlife and flowers, particularly our own native species, but I’m open to anything you would like to suggest. I’m happy to work from your own photographs, pictures, or from designs you have come up with yourself.

If you are looking for something to fit a lower budget, how about a plaque with your house name or number, or perhaps a smaller mural to frame and hang on your wall.
So come and visit my studio, where you will find a variety of examples to inspire you. I will work with you to come up with a totally unique design, specially tailored to fit the space you have chosen to bring a wow factor to, and when the tiles are ready I’ll come and install them for you.
