Information for Members
Thank you for being part of Hebden Bridge Open Studios 2026.
Timeline for December’s event:
- End July – Applications open.
- 21 August – Applications close.
- By 31 August – offer of place in craft fairs to be accepted.
- Mid September – WhatsApp groups set up, participant email sent, website Members page updated, check and update your website page.
- By end September – Proof of leaflet sent to all to check your listing.
- From early October – Posters and leaflets available online and in print- please help us spread the word!
- End of November – Insurance and risk assessments need to be in place and available for checking.
- End of November – Event banners and large maps go up.
- 4-6 December – Event.
- By 18 December – Feedback and commission payments due.
Updating your website page:
To login and edit your page click on the login link below then an edit button should appear at the bottom of your page.
You might find it useful to have the guide notes to editing your page open in a separate window so you can refer to them as you edit.
If you’ve lost your password you can get it reset anytime, click Login, then ‘Lost your password?’ at the foot of the website. Contact us if you can’t remember your username.
Help us promote the event:
Leaflets and posters will be available to collect from Craft & Canvas and Totally Screwed shops in Hebden Bridge in the run up to the event. We will let you know when these are available. Our donation tubs and buckets, A2 ‘Here Today’ signs and directional arrows will be available to collect from Kate Lycett’s Studio in Linden Mill from the week of the event.

Collab Posts on Instagram. This is much better than repost! It’s like ‘repost’ but all comments and likes are concentrated on one post that appears in both our feeds.
After uploading your Reel or feed post tap “Tag People”. In the bottom right corner, you’ll see an option to “Invite Collaborator.” Search for us @hbopenstudios. Once you’ve selected our account tap the checkmark to confirm. Then write your caption and add hashtags and share your post. PLEASE NOTE- You have to tag and invite collaborator before you post, it doesn’t work as an edit afterwards. Make sure that we’re following you otherwise you won’t be able to collab. Send us a message on Insta, Whatsapp or email and we’ll follow you if we’re not already. When we see it and accept, your post will be seen on our feed too.
