The wood I use for my pendants are offcuts from a wood turner. Starting with a small piece of wood, I build a small box around it and then fill it with coloured epoxy resin. After curing, I shape, sand, and polish the pieces by hand, resulting in pendants which are truly unique and beautiful.
Before making jewellery I made interlocking wooden animal ornaments. After many years I stopped when the wood became hard to obtain because of the war in Ukraine. But now, with a change in the type of wood, I find myself drawn to also making the animal ornaments again.
