During the winter in this often dark valley, I was reflecting on how bad weather can negatively impact our mood. I wanted to turn rain and clouds into something pretty – as the saying goes ‘no rain, no flowers!’. So I created ‘The Elements’ collection.

My previous collection Ancient Alchemy is inspired by the jewellery of ancient civilisations. Looking into Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Celtic jewellery, I discovered shared design elements like twisted wire and decorative beads. I incorporated these into my own work and sought to create jewellery with an archaic feel.

I have three collections inspired by the moon. Its journey – the Orbit Collection, its shape – Phase and finally its texture in Moon Landing. I must love space as I also have Meteor Collection! My other collections include the Ridge collection inspired by rocky textures, and the minimalist Tube and Lines collections. (Photos in order).
