At age 5 my art began with drawings and colouring in.
Through praise and encouragement from my parents and teachers I wanted to further my passion and skills and so enrolled on an Art Foundation Course.
Since then, post-motherhood a decade ago, I was able to return to my art knowing that it’s always been my true passion and calling.
My visual art is influenced by motherhood, maternal mental health, feminism, nature, health and human anatomy.
My studio space allows me to explore these topics whereby engaging with mixed media techniques and learning new skills to help bring my ideas to fruition.
My Maternity Reflexology career and role in a local musical collective all weave together with a creative thread.
By personalising commission work and following plans for a local maternal journal art group and also providing work pieces for Calderdale Hospital exploring moderate mental health issues I’m hoping to find my niche using a contemporary abstract style.
