I create mixed media paintings, drawing my inspiration from the land around me.

I describe my paintings as landscapes although at times they lean towards more abstract images. Colour, form, line and surface are all important elements in my work. Working mainly in acrylics, I use stretched canvas, cradled boards, and panels.

The location of my studio has recently moved to Bridge Mill on St George's Square right in the centre of Hebden Bridge.
