My work explores the landscapes I have lived in, as reflections of different times in my life. I love to paint imagines of the human form and abstracted landscapes, looking at how I impact those landscapes and in turn, they impact me. I grew up in rural Warwickshire; my parents garden being my biggest inspiration for creativity. Later, studying in Cornwall, my work grew to encompass a multimedia approach, using paint, photography, poetry and textile mediums. Now, living in West Yorkshire, my work seeks to reflect the peace I crave in life, amongst the furrows and brows of the Peaks and moorlands.Â
