This summer I’m looking forward to welcoming you to my NEW larger studio, same mill, same floor but just along the corridor. The year has been busy and a reflective one for me and so I will have one-off framed prints of all my favorite landscape works from over the years, all hung together in the new studio like a wall from the RA exhibition! These works will be accompanied by my contemporary basketry: hand-bags, shoppers and even rucksacks all made from willow and wild materials gathered from the landscape. In addition, as a nomad I’m always keen to ‘leave no trace’ and I’ll have a new collection of brushes made from wild found materials.
I continue to create animal portraits to commission and you will be able to see examples of these and discuss any projects you have in mind in person during the weekend.
This year I have guest artist Miranda Cowan with her complimentary nature based creations, you will find her work in my studio too and please check her separate profile on this website.
Very excitingly we are being joined by ‘Thyme for Tiffin’ on the Saturday afternoow, Roze will be offering her valley famous tea and cake, so be sure to get here for sustanance on your way round all the open studios.
