I have been a life-long collector of ‘things’, but especially objects, textiles and ephemera with a history, a story, a previous life; in them I see the potential to inspire a new piece of artwork. In this way, my collections of ‘treasure’, amassed from forays to flea markets, charity shops, natural landscapes and on my travels, are woven together to tell a new story.

I am part of a collective of artists and creatives at Steep Lane Baptist Chapel in Sowerby and work from a light-filled studio created in one of the former school rooms, which was also once used as the ‘young men’s vestry’.
