I started woodworking some 25 years ago, initially doing green woodworking, making items of furniture. I then started to explore more “orthodox” carpentry, attending courses at evening classes and during holidays from my paid work.
After leaving paid employment, I trained for a year in Furniture Making and Design in the Lake District. I now have a small workshop in Hebden Bridge where I continue to develop my skills and experience. Currently, I make one-off items of furniture as well as smaller items for domestic or personal use.
