Kick off your festive season with Advent at Wainsgate on Saturday 30th November 11-5.

This is going to be a wonderful event for the whole family, and we’re pulling out all the stops to bring you a day packed full of things to do, see, hear, eat and drink. Don’t miss it!

There will be beautiful hand-crafted gifts; Artists Open Studios; the best Santa’s Grotto for miles around; wreath making; a Christmas tree festival in the chapel with trees decorated by local groups and businesses; live music; lots of mouth-watering home-cooked, hot and cold, sweet and savoury food; a licensed bar; mince pies, mulled wine, Bailey’s coffee and much more.

To book for wreath-making email contact@wainsgate.co.uk – it costs £25 to make a gorgeous Christmas wreath – all materials and guidance provided.

All proceeds from the event go to support the work of the Wainsgate Chapel Charity.

Wainsgate is accessed via an uneven track which is currently not accessible by wheelchair.
There is disabled parking adjacent to the venue, and an access ramp was recently installed, which gives step-free access to the ground floor and the chapel through the two doors at the side and back of the building.
There are two toilets in the building which are gender-neutral. One is fully accessible.
The first floor is accessed by a staircase with 20 steps. It has wooden rails on one side.
There is currently no toilet on the first floor.
